There is now an election taking place, and Olumide Akpata, who is standing for governor of Edo State as a candidate for the Labour Party (LP), has already cast his vote in the election that is going place.
After leaving the polling booth in Oredo, Akpata gave the reporters his assurance that he would emerge triumphant. He emphasised his faith in his ability to win.

The following sentence was the continuation of his previous statement, in which he proceeded by stating that the turnout, which he described as extraordinary, had tremendously delighted him.

Because, in his opinion, the voters in Edo are anxious for big change, the candidate for governorship of the Labour Party claimed in his statement that success in the election was assured. He stated that this was the reason why he believed the election would be successful.

He said, “I am impressed with the turnout. The people are hungry for change. I am hoping that those who are superintending the process should allow the will of the people to prevail.”

Asked if he was confident of victory, he said, “We’ve got this one.”

In a similar incident, Monday Okpebholo, who is running for governor as a candidate for the All Progressives Congress (APC), has already cast his ballot in the election that is currently taking place.

After casting his vote, Okpebholo stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is doing a good job of getting the Edo gubernatorial election correctly conducted.

At PU003, Uwessan 1, Esan Central Local Government Area in Edo, the candidate for governorship of the All Progressives Congress (APC) met with reporters on Saturday after casting his ballot.

In light of the fact that his constituents have a deep affection for him, the senator who represents Edo Central stated that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) will not receive a single vote at his polling unit.
