Matthew Perry’s L.A. home sells for $8.5 million a year after his death.

On October 28, 2023, nearly one year after the death of the Friends star, it was sold in a transaction that was not open to the public. The house, which is located in Los Angeles’ Pacific Palisades neighbourhood, has four bedrooms, four full bathrooms, and is 3,500 square feet overall, according to the New York Times.

According to the outlet, Perry paid a total of $6 million for the homeownership in the year 2020.

Greg Holcombe of Carolwood Estates was the one who held the listing for Perry’s estate, while Brooke Elliott Laurinkus of Christie’s International Real Estate Southern California was the one who represented the buyer.

People in December 2023 were able to obtain an autopsy report that stated Perry, 54, passed away as a result of the severe side effects of the prescription drug ketamine. Her death occurred. At his residence in Los Angeles, he was discovered motionless in a hot tub.

During the time of his passing, a source disclosed to people in an exclusive interview that the cherished actor had recently completed renovations to the house and that he “was incredibly happy” in that location. In addition, the informant stated that Perry referred to his residence as “heaven.”

A second residence that belonged to the actor and was situated in the Hollywood Hills was put up for sale in May of 2024 with a price tag of $5.2 million. There is evidence in the property records indicating it was purchased in June of 2023, which is only four months before Perry passed away.

As a result, the authorities initiated an official inquiry in May 2024 to investigate where the actor obtained the medication.

A total of five individuals were charged and arrested in connection with Perry’s death in the month of August. These individuals included two medical professionals, a lady who was referred to as “The Ketamine Queen,” and Perry’s personal live-in aide.
