Larreal was a political figure in Venezuela who was active. Hugo Chavez, the late president of Venezuela, and his sports minister, Hector Rodriguez, were accused of smuggling money out of the country through the sponsorship of a racing driver who did not exist. She was a staunch opponent of Chavez, who was a strongman ruler.

In 2013, when Nicolás Maduro came to power, she referred to the president as a dictatorship. As a result, she was compelled to go into exile and was prohibited from entering Venezuela. The last years of Larreal’s life were spent in Miami, where she worked as an Uber driver. After that, she relocated to Las Vegas, where she found employment as a food server.

On the other hand, Larreal was reported missing on August 12 after he failed to show up for regular employment. After a period of four days, her body was discovered inside her flat.

An investigation into the “cause and method” of her passing was still ongoing as of Tuesday, according to the county medical examiner. Nevertheless, it was claimed that the authorities discovered substantial food remains in her windpipe, which led them to believe that she had died as a result of asphyxiation.
