Five contestants from the reality show “Beast Games” who have chosen not to reveal their identities have filed a class action lawsuit against MrBeast and Amazon. Sexual assault, chronic abuse, unpaid wages, and unsafe working conditions are some of the charges filed against the defendant. This case demands punitive damages as well as restitution for salaries that have not been paid. Regarding these allegations, neither MrBeast nor Amazon have issued a statement from their respective sides.

A class action complaint has purportedly been launched against both MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) and Amazon on the basis of sexual assault, chronic abuse, and other allegations. As a result, both parties have found themselves engaged in legal processes.
According to a Variety article, five unnamed contestants on the reality competition programme “Beast Games” have made these allegations.

The lawsuit is said to have been submitted to the Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday, September 16th, according to the reports. As previously stated, the goal of this class action lawsuit is to seek justice for all contestants who suffered harm as a result of the “Beast Games.” A number of companies, including Amazon, MrBeast’s production company, and Off One’s Base LLC, an independent production company, are accused of failing to pay their employees the minimum wage and overtime, according to the charges. In addition to this, they have been accused of violating sexual harassment prevention measures. They are accused of creating situations that resulted in the participants experiencing emotional discomfort as a result of their actions. One of the allegations against the defendants is that they did not give the participants uninterrupted lunch breaks or rest periods. Lastly, but certainly not least, the lawsuit asserts that the defendants subjected the candidates to “dangerous circumstances and conditions as a condition of their employment.”

According to the complaint, the lawsuit seeks that Amazon and MrBeast’s company pay back the alleged underpaid wages and expenses, in addition to monetary damages that are not defined.

“While participants knew upon signing the contract at the production’s inception that they were facing a potentially long and challenging competition, they allege getting a lot more than they bargained for,” stated one of the attorneys representing the contestant who wished to remain unnamed.
He went on to say that a great number of contestants were admitted to hospitals, while others claimed experiencing both physical and mental issues as a result of the unpleasant working conditions. According to the lawsuit, the candidates were denied access to fundamental necessities such as food, sleep, and medical care, as well as basic sanitary necessities.

Furthermore, one of the female plaintiffs in the complaint made the following comment in a statement: “I wanted to join because I was a fan of MrBeast and his videos made me smile during the COVID-19 pandemic.” Despite the fact that I anticipated being challenged, I did not anticipate being treated as if I were nothing or even less than nothing. To add insult to injury, I am one of the women, and I can state without a doubt that we were in an extremely hostile environment. To tell you the truth, they could not have been less respectful of us as individuals, much less as employees, even if they had tried.
There has been no remark issued by either MrBeast or Amazon regarding the matter as of this moment.
