Chelsea FC has confirmed the signing of midfield maestro Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall from Leicester City for £30 million.
The 25-year-old becomes the fourth summer addition made by the Blues after Tosin Adarabioyo, Omari Kellyman, and Marc Guiu.

Dewsbury-Hall was one of the core players in Leicester’s Championship-winning season, supplying 12 goals and 14 assists under Enzo Maresca, who joins him at Stamford Bridge this summer.
The transfer is likely to go a long in helping Leicester come within the parameters of Profit and Sustainability Rules, though it is still not clear whether the Foxes will also be fully compliant.
Dewsbury-Hall’s exit brings an end to a 17-year association with Leicester City after initially joining the club at eight.

In an Instagram post, he penned an emotional farewell message thanking the Foxes for the memories as he left the midfielder.
Well, what can I say? What a journey it’s been. Seventeen years of my life devoted to this club, and it’s been a pleasure. I’ve loved every minute of my time at this football club and created some memories & friendships I’ll never forget.”.
The midfielder also reacted to Leicester’s recent relegation and then promotion, admitting, “When we were relegated in the 2022/23 season, I felt personally responsible for my part played in that. I made it my goal to make sure we got back to the Premier League within the first season, as I know how devastating a position that can be for a club if it doesn’t happen.”.

Dewsbury-Hall was proud of what the team had achieved last season before thanking the fans for their support.
“The amount of messages I have received in the past few days has been overwhelming, and I am touched by each and every one of them. Thank you all so much for taking time out to do that; it means a lot to me and my family. I am one of yours, Leicester. But now it’s time to leave.”.
