According to the singer of “Skyscraper,” who uses she/they pronouns, she uploaded a culinary video on August 27 in which she demonstrated how she prepared Marry Me Chicken for her fiance, Jordan “Jutes” Lutes. Due to the fact that the dish was so delicious, Jutes made the decision to propose to her for a second time.
“I responded with a yes! One of my favourite dishes, “Marry Me Chicken,” is going to be the next one on Cooking with Demi. Lovato wrote the following in the image’s caption: “Recipe provided by @littlesunnykitchen, with a special appearance by @jutesmusic.”
She began the video by introducing the chicken from the Little Sunny Kitchen blog as one of her go-to dinners. She also mentioned that she frequently eats chicken.
“We are going to make some Marry Me chicken today! It is one of my favourite chicken dishes, and I believe it worked since I am getting married!” she remarked, displaying her beautiful engagement ring. “It’s one of my favourite chicken recipes.”
Following that, Lovato started by slicing three chicken breasts into thin cutlets and seasoning them with salt and pepper according to his preference.
The chicken was being seared, and everything was going swimmingly until she accidentally scorched the oil and butter that she was using. “Oh my goodness! “Had I set fire to it?” she asked. As she continued, she restocked the materials and shrugged off the insignificant error that had occurred. Garlic, chicken broth, heavy cream, a variety of herbs, and sundried tomatoes were the final ingredients that she made to complete the recipe.
Following the completion of the Marry Me Chicken, she presented a plate to Jutes, who was ecstatic about the dish. Following the consumption of a bite, he exclaimed, “Baby, this is incredible!”
Due to the fact that he was so impressed by Lovato’s culinary abilities, he pulled out a ring box and proposed to her. He posed the question to his fiancee, “Will you marry me?”
During the final moments of the video, Lovato gave a playful swoon, and the two of them kiss. The answer was “yes!” Jutes made jokes.
It was in December that the pair announced their engagement. Material Good, a jewellery business in New York City, crafted a one-of-a-kind pear-shaped diamond solitaire engagement ring for him to wear when he proposed to his girlfriend.
After what Jutes and Lovato described as a “personal and intimate proposal,” they celebrated with their family at Craig’s, which is one of their favourite restaurants in Los Angeles.
On August 20, the day Lovato turned 32, Jutes wrote an emotional tribute to her.
“I wish everyone in the world a happy birthday. According to what the musician stated, “you are deserving of nothing but love and happiness because that is what you give to everyone you come in contact with.”
Following that, he expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming wedding of the couple.
While making a joke, he said, “Ps can’t wait to marry your fine ass.”
