Eminem surprised everyone with a last-minute appearance at tonight’s rally for the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz campaign, introducing former President Barack Obama at an event in his hometown of Detroit.

The rapper took the stage after inspiring speeches from Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, former Detroit Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson, Michigan Senate contender Elissa Slotkin, Detroit City Councilperson Mary Sheffield, and Michigan Senators Gary Peters and Debbie Stabenow. In his brief speech, he introduced Obama by highlighting the importance of this election for the bright future of democracy.

“Detroit is amazing!” “What up doe!” he exclaimed after coming out with his 2010 single “Not Afraid.” “I took some time to jot down a few thoughts I’m excited to share.” I’m here tonight for some exciting reasons! As many of you are aware, the city of Detroit and the entire state of Michigan hold a special place in my heart. As we approach this election, the focus is on us like never before, and I believe it’s crucial to make our voices heard. I’m excited to encourage everyone to get out and vote, so let’s do this together! I believe that people should feel free to express their opinions, and I envision an America where everyone feels safe sharing their thoughts without fear of retribution or concern about others’ reactions. I believe Vice President Harris envisions a bright future for this country where these freedoms and many others will be cherished and safeguarded. “And now, let’s hear from President Barack Obama, who has so much more to share with us!”

Obama himself made an appearance to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself,” even rapping along with the first few bars of the song. “I was feeling inspired following Eminem,” he said, reciting the opening verse from the track. “I was so excited to see Eminem perform, I could hardly contain myself!” I absolutely adore Eminem!

Eminem’s support for Harris and the Democratic ticket is a continuation of his commitment, as he previously backed the Joe Biden-Harris ticket in 2020 with a memorable campaign ad featuring his iconic song “Lose Yourself.” He has expressed strong opinions about former President Donald Trump and the Republican Party in the past. Last year, an interview clip surfaced where he mentioned that Trump had been inspiring his core following to believe that something wonderful was on the horizon. Everything is just waiting to unfold. In 2017, during a freestyle titled “The Storm” at the BET Hip Hop Awards, he expressed strong feelings about Trump, labelling him a “racist” and stating, “We fucking hate Trump.”

His feelings towards the Republican Party encompass more than just the former president. Last year, Eminem reached out to then-aspiring Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy with a letter, kindly requesting that he refrain from using his songs after the politician performed “Lose Yourself” at the Iowa State Fair. In 2004, he focused on George W. Bush in the track “Mosh,” expressing his views on the United States’ involvement in the war with Iraq.

Exciting news arrived this morning with the announcement of Eminem’s cameo, followed closely by the thrilling update that Bruce Springsteen is set to perform later this week at Harris Rallies in the crucial battleground states of Georgia and Pennsylvania. The events in Atlanta and Philadelphia will kick off a series of “When We Vote, We Win” shows in the seven major swing states as we approach the exciting final days of the campaign. Exciting events are on the horizon in Wisconsin, Arizona, North Carolina, and Nevada!

As the presidential race approaches its conclusion, Harris and Trump are neck and neck in five crucial battleground states, including Michigan, according to the New York Times’ polling average, with both candidates showing an exciting level of competition, as neither is ahead by even a single point. The five states include Pennsylvania, Michigan, Nevada, Wisconsin, and North Carolina!

Eminem has been making occasional public appearances since the release of his latest album “The Death of Slim Shady (Coup De Grâce)” in July. He recently shared the exciting news that he’s going to become a grandfather in the video for “Temporary” a few weeks ago, featuring a delightful clip of his daughter Hailie Jade surprising him with the announcement.
