“Richard put in a lot of effort to ensure that his posts were perfect for you,” the statement from Simmons’ team stated. “He would work ahead of times and had a lot of ideas… spending time going back to each one and making adjustments until he had it just how he wanted it before posting it.

The following is an excerpt from the post: “As you are aware, on the weekends, he would simply share a photo with a caption.” He never missed a Friday when it came to selecting his photographs and writing his captions for the forthcoming weekend. We now have the post that Richard had intended to share with you on the previous Sunday. We were under the impression that you would be interested in viewing it.

The final tweet in the series, which Simmons had planned to publish on Sunday, July 14, revealed the post and photo that he had anticipated. “Let me fly you to the moon so that we can gaze among the stars,” the caption reads in the photograph, which shows him smiling while wearing an orange NASA space suit of some kind. Greetings, Richard…

Reporter of the news said that on July 13, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call that was placed by Simmons’ housekeeper concerning the situation. At the scene, he was cited as having passed away. It was reported by the police that he appeared to have passed away due to “natural causes,” and that there is no suspicion of any kind of foul play.

Tom Estey, who had been his publicist for many years, sent a statement to Entertainment Weekly confirming his passing and said, “The world lost an angel today.”

He was laid to rest on July 19 in Los Angeles, according to Simmons’ brother Lenny, who later disclosed this information to EW. He confirmed in a statement that “our beloved Dicky was laid to rest this morning surrounded by only family and closest friends.” Dicky had been laid to rest this morning. During this extremely trying time, we pray that you will continue to express your love and support for us.

In a post that he had made just a few hours before his passing, Simmons had said, “Hello, darling!Don’t put a damper on my celebration, please.

The fitness expert had celebrated his 76th birthday the day before, and in a post that he shared across his social media platforms, he expressed his gratitude to his followers for their good greetings. “I am grateful… In all of my years, I have never received so many birthday messages in my whole life!” he wrote. “As I sit here, I am currently writing emails. Have a wonderful rest of your Friday, wherever you are.”

In addition, Simmons discussed his birthday during his farewell interview, during which he also reminisced on his career that spanned several decades, including his recent decision to withdraw from the public spotlight.

He expressed his gratitude to the outlet by saying, “I am thankful that I am here, that I am alive for another day.” “I’ll spend my birthday doing what I do every day, which is to help people.”
