An image of the former glamour model was taken on Thursday evening next to a police van while she was wearing protective headwear around the surgical wounds she had sustained. It is generally accepted that she had been in Turkey.
Due to the fact that Katie Price did not show up for a court hearing over her bankruptcy, she was taken into custody at Heathrow Airport.
On her way back to the United Kingdom, Price, who is 46 years old and hails from Surrey, was taken into custody at the airport.
The former glamour model has been remanded so that she can appear before the Royal Courts of Justice on Friday. She is currently being held in prison at a police station in west London.
A photograph was taken of the mother of five on Thursday evening next to a police van while she was wearing protective headwear around the trauma she had sustained during surgery.
As a result of the appearance of photographs showing her at a hotel swimming pool with bandages covering her bloodied face, it is believed that she had been in Turkey for surgical procedures.
There was also a warning given to Price in April that she may be arrested if she continued to miss hearings.
In July, Judge Catherine Burton of the Insolvency and Companies Court issued an arrest warrant for Price, stating that she had been provided with “very clear warnings” that she was required to appear in court.
Due to the fact that Price was declared bankrupt in November 2019 and again in March of this year, she was expected to be confronted by barristers with enquiries on her financial situation.
The previous week, Price stated that she was “not running from matters” and released a message on Instagram stating that she was unable to attend due to the fact that she was filming in another country.
In an extensive statement that was published on the internet, Price stated that the media was attempting to bring “continued humiliation to myself and my family,” but that he was “neither embarrassed nor ashamed.” He also stated that he needed to continue working in order to fulfil the bankruptcy orders that were against him.
The warrant for Price’s arrest was issued by Judge Burton, who stated that Price had not provided an explanation for her absence and that “she has no real excuse.” He also stated that “the reason for her absence today is irrelevant.”
In addition, Judge Burton stated that Price had only provided “piecemeal cooperation” and had failed to disclose the “most basic information” in respect to her bankruptcies.
The assertion that Price was “doing the best… to rectify things during extremely challenging times” was made by Price.
During a hearing that took place in February, she was given an order that, in regard to her initial bankruptcy, she had to pay the trustee forty percent of the monthly revenue that she received from the adult entertainment website OnlyFans for the following three years.
In March, she was declared bankrupt for the second time as a result of an unpaid tax debt that was greater than seven hundred and fifty thousand pounds.
After being threatened with legal action, she stated in October of last year that she was “fed up” with the situation and that she would go to prison in order to be “done with it all.”
Additionally, Price recently shared her thoughts on cosmetic surgery, stating that she believes there is “nothing worse” than young women undergoing cosmetic treatments such as breast augmentation, face and lip fillers, and other similar procedures.
