Attention all KatyCats, get ready to celebrate because the queen herself has just revealed the title and release date for her highly anticipated studio album. On Wednesday, Katy Perry excitedly revealed the cover art for her latest project, along with some exciting details about its upcoming release.

The Instagram carousel featured the album cover, showcasing Perry in a strikingly transparent plastic armor-inspired bodice with bold shoulders and hips. She is adorned in an iridescent sarong, gracefully suspended in the air against a backdrop of swirling tie-dye patterns. Her flowing black locks cascaded freely, tousled by the gentle breeze. The minimal glam look she sported featured fringed lashes and a peach-colored lip.

In the post, the second slide showcased a video displaying the various covers for each medium. Among them were two vinyl sleeves, with the second one capturing Perry adorned with blue-and-pink tubes around her hips, chest, neck, and arms.

In the caption, Perry revealed the title of her sixth studio album as 143, a code that symbolizes affection and was popularly used in the ’90s to express love after sending messages to a pager. The album is set to be released on September 20.

She added a caption to the post.

“I aimed to create a vibrant, energetic, joyous dance-pop album with the symbolic 143 numerical expression of love as a consistent message,” Perry explained in a statement.

Fans have already been talking a lot about Perry’s album. Opinions on her upcoming song, “Woman’s World,” set to release on July 11, sparked a lively debate on social media. Critics had opinions after she unveiled a preview of the track, but after sharing another teaser, excitement surrounding the new single started to build.

The star even took a page out of Taylor Swift’s book (no animosity here) by leaving a not-so-subtle hint while in Paris for the couture shows. The celebrity donned a stunning red velvet bodycon minidress with an exceptionally long train adorned with lyrics from the latest song.

When she wasn’t busy promoting her latest project, Perry strutted down the Vogue World: Paris runway in a daring leather dress with numerous cutouts.
