Kelly Ripa related a comical incident that occurred while she was on vacation with her family at the beach. The incident involved her swimsuit being wet. During the episode of Live with Kelly and Mark that aired on Tuesday, July 16, the celebrity expressed her regret with regard to the fact that she had lost a pair of Tom Ford sunglasses as well as one of her “chicken cutlets” in the ocean.
“We go on vacation and I wear them into the water and I get hit with a wave from behind and my expensive sunglasses are immediately knocked off my face,” Ripa, who is 53, explained. As an additional point of interest, if you can believe it, one of the chicken cutlets escaped from my top. Sadly, I misplaced a chicken cutlet.
“They float,” Consuelos, who was 53 at the time, remarked.
“The children were unaware that it was a jellyfish. As if they were saying, “Jellyfish!” As Ripa put it, “I’m like, ‘No, I’m not going to get that, that’s expensive!'”
“I remember when you used to put those down — flap, the noise they would make,” Consuelos subsequently stated. “Flap!”
“You know when women get irritated, they take off their bra,” Ripa responded in response. It’s like you’ve finished your dinner and you take off your bra, right? When I would reach in, he would ask me, “What are you doing?” I would be like, “What are you doing?” I would say something along the lines of, “I’m just sick of it,” while imitating the act of removing her breast pads from her bra and placing them on the table. “Flap, flap, flap!”
She also revealed that the following year, she was back at the same vacation site with a friend, who magically found the Tom Ford sunglasses that she had previously misplaced. The former soap opera star has previously spoken about this.
When she recalled it, she said, “We’re just standing there waist high in water.” She is searching for something, and all of a sudden she pulls up my Tom Ford sunglasses. They are missing a lens, but they are still my Tom Ford sunglasses nevertheless. In addition, I had the lens updated, and the price per wear was calculated, so I was able to get my money’s worth out of them.
Ripa and Consuelos recently discussed their journey to Switzerland, where they intended to pay a visit to their daughter, Lola, who, according to them, “visits Switzerland quite frequently.”
“I completely understand,” Ripa continued.
Adding, “Hats off to the people in Switzerland,” Consuelos said. “Even though we were only in one city, it was the cleanest of them all. It is so spotless.
