Lily Allen has revealed that she has returned the dog she received during the coronavirus outbreak. This is due to the fact that the puppy swallowed the passports that belonged to her family.
Despite the fact that the singer of Smile admitted that she and her husband David Harbour are currently considering the prospect of adopting a new puppy, she also disclosed that she had previously sought to adopt a puppy and that she had “taken her back to the home.”
Allen noted on her podcast titled “Miss Me?” that getting a dog is “a hell of a commitment,” and she also mentioned that the puppy she got in the year 2020 ate her passport as well as the passports of her two children, Ethel, who is 12 years old, and Marnie, who is 11 years old. Both of her children are in their 11th and 12th years.
Although Allen is currently living in New York with the Stranger Things star, she had two children from a previous marriage to Sam Cooper in the United Kingdom. These children were born in spite of the fact that Allen is currently residing in New York.
“[The dog] ate all three of our passports, and they had our visas in them, and I cannot tell you how much money it cost me to get everything replaced because it was in COVID,” she said during her appearance on the programme. “I got everything replaced because it was in COVID.” Consequently, it was nothing short of a full and total nightmare in terms of the logistics involved.
Because this f****ing dog had eaten their passports, I was unable to bring my children back to England to see their father for around four to five months. This was due to the fact that the father of my children lives in England.
I was unable to look at her because it was impossible. The thought that was going through my head was, “You have completely ruined my life.”
Allen added that the dog, whom they named Mary and put on an Instagram account that they established for her, ate other stuff and that “she was a very badly behaved dog.” They also described the creature as having a horrible disposition. Their dog was given the name Mary, and they named her after her.
As said in her statement, “It just didn’t work out,” and “the passports were the straw that broke the camel’s back,” to put it another way.
