M14 Latest OLED Screen Technology With HyperEfficient EL Present On IPhone 16 Pro And Pixel 9 Series

JAKARTA — The world is getting closer to the opening of the iPhone 16 series and, most importantly, the highly-anticipated Google Pixel 9 series. The Pixel 9 launch event rumored for mid-October or even November will now be mounted two months ahead on August 13.

On the other side, the iPhone 16 series is targeting a September release. For quite a while now, a lot regarding these two devices has been leaking on the internet. Now, the latest information has it that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pixel 9 series are going to be fitted with today’s industry’s best OLED screen.

According to the news, the new iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, along with Pixel 9 series devices like Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the Pixel Fold 2, will all be equipped with an OLED M14 panel from Samsung.
A report from a Korean publication, ETNews, revealed that these two series will not use screen technology similar to the Galaxy S24 series as previously thought. These devices can be fitted with the best OLED panels ever produced in the industry.

Advantages Of The M14 OLED Panel
Reports have surfaced that the M14 OLED panels, used for Pixel 9 and iPhone 16 Pro series displays, have integrated special materials such as “HyperEffiscient EL,” which helps boost the efficiency of the blue light-emitting layer. This results in a 30% increase in brightness to support brighter highlights than the previous generation M13 OLED panels. In addition, Samsung has utilized lower-dispersion CPL materials, increasing its optical efficiency.
Although the M14 panel is bound to offer substantial improvement over current technology, it emerges that the latest basic variant of the iPhone 16 series will still be using the previous generation of the OLED panel, namely M12. The idea is happily being put in place to ensure a very fine line of balance between product performance and cost-effectiveness.
Most importantly, with the soon-to-be-launched official iPhone 16 Pro, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel Fold 2, everyone is expecting a live test to unleash its actual performance and visual improvement fronted by this advanced OLED technology.
