Matty Healy Hints at No Taylor Swift Breakup Album

You may remember the time when Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn ended their relationship, and then she started dating Matty Healy, which was quite unexpected. Simply put, it was a period. And despite the fact that they have both moved on with their lives (Taylor is currently dating Travis Kelce, and Matty is engaged to Gabbriette Bechtel), the relationship’s influence on Matty has been long-lasting.

For a variety of reasons, I became a significantly more well-known public figure during the course of the previous year. In an episode of Doomscroll that aired earlier this week, the vocalist from 1975 stated, “The only reason that I was interested in is kind of like, what I was doing.” People reported that this statement was made. They get very interested in their lore, or they become interested in the things that have happened outside of their work that people are aware of, and they want to address it. “So I think that a lot of artists become extremely interested in their legend. When I say “fair enough,” do you understand what I mean?

Although Matty used to write “all these stories about relationships,” he stated that he “would kind of just be lying if I made a record about, I don’t know, all the stuff that was said about me or my casual romantic liaisons or whatever it may be that I’ve kind of become known for, just because I was famous.” Matty’s statement was made in reference to the fact that he began writing about relationships. That seems to be a really obvious thing to draw from, in my opinion. It’s just not anything that interests me at all. In addition, I believe that the upkeep of the status quo is something that I will always work to combat.

He continued by pointing out that “the idea of making a record about something that personally happened to me, that by the time I put it out is going to be like two years old, I see people doing that as well, and it’s not interesting.”
