During her appearance at D23, the singer and actress stated, “A little bit of everything has changed, but at the same time, nothing has changed at all.”

Although life is a climb, the view is really breathtaking. You need only ask Miley Cyrus!

The former Hannah Montana star, who is now 31 years old, made history by becoming the youngest person ever to be honoured with the title of Disney Legend. This distinction is given to individuals who have had a major impact on the corporation.

When Cyrus was onstage at a D23 event in Anaheim, California, before she was scheduled to deliver her address, she began to cry as the audience erupted in cheers for her.

After that, she went on to explain that she had written two speeches: “one long, [for] the badass I’m supposed to be, and one short, if I get scared.” This was before she recounted the beginnings of Hannah Montana in 2005, when she joked that she “definitely wasn’t created in a lab” as a “Disney kid.”

Cyrus stated, “I had gotten a taste of what my life could be, and from that moment on, I did not want anything else.” This statement was made after she had gone through the process of how Hannah Montana came to be, including discussing the fact that she was not initially cast in the part.

“A little bit of everything has changed, but at the same time, nothing has changed at all,” she continued talking about. “I stand here still proud to have been Hannah Montana.”

Cyrus continued by saying, “In a great number of ways, his award is dedicated to Hannah and all of her incredible and devoted fans, as well as to everyone who has helped me make my dream successful.” In the words of the legendary figure herself: “This is life.””

The Chief Executive Officer of The Walt Disney Company, Bob Iger, had released a press release in which he lauded Cyrus prior to the presentation of the honour.

“To be named a Disney Legend is the highest honour that our company can bestow on anyone,” he added. “It is reserved for those individuals whose talent and achievement have earned them an enduring place in our history.” “The fourteen individuals who will be honoured as Disney Legends this year have each made extraordinary creative contributions across the worlds of Disney, and we are looking forward to celebrating them at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event,” said Disney.

Angela Bassett, Colleen Atwood, Martha Blanding, James L. Brooks, James Cameron, Jamie Lee Curtis, Steve Ditko, Harrison Ford, Mark Henn, Frank Oz, Kelly Ripa, Joe Rohde, and John Williams were among the other individuals honoured at the event.

It was in 2006 when the singer of “Flowers” made her first appearance on the popular Disney Channel show with the same name, playing the role of Hannah Montana. Miley Stewart, played by Cyrus, was a regular adolescent who secretly maintained a double life as the legendary pop sensation Hannah Montana. The show aired for a total of four seasons until 2011, during which time it also followed her life.

Additionally, Cyrus went on to star in Hannah Montana: The Movie in 2009 and headline the Best of Both Worlds tour in 2011. Both of these endeavours came after her time on the programme.

Cyrus honoured the sixteenth anniversary of the show’s debut on social media in 2021 by posting a video of herself performing a concert version of “Hoedown Throwdown,” which is considered to be one of Hannah’s most popular songs.

“When the first episode of HM aired sixteen years ago, my life was forever altered,” she wrote on X, which was formerly known as Twitter. “Because of your loyalty and support, I’ve had the honour to travel the world for over a decade and perform for fans that bring so much greatness into my life.”

During a virtual appearance on the radio show Carolina With Greg T in the Morning in the year 2020, Cyrus expressed her willingness to reprise the part of Hannah.

“You know what, honestly, I try to put that wig on all the time,” Cyrus stated in response. It’s simply that she’s been sitting in storage gathering dust, and I’m getting ready to pull her out… It is certain that the opportunity will come up.”

She went on to say, “You can be sure that I would like to bring her back to life at some point.” Because she is kind of trapped in 2008, she needs a significant makeover, and we will have to go shopping with Miss Montana to get her new look.
