So, it looks like Arsenal is on the edge of their seats waiting to find out just how serious Martin Odegaard’s ankle injury really is. Rumour has it their captain might be out for at least three weeks. Can you believe it? It looks like he won’t be around for the north London derby this Sunday or the Manchester City match on September 22. Quite the buzz, right?

Odegaard showed up at Arsenal on Tuesday, and he was on crutches! Can you believe it? Oh, did you hear? The Norwegian Football Association just revealed that he’s dealing with “a bad ankle injury.” Sounds like quite the drama! Oh, you won’t believe what happened! Ødegaard was in tears as he left the field after that intense challenge from Christoph Baumgartner during Norway’s win against Austria on Monday night. Such drama! Word has it that the 25-year-old player has had a scan, and it seems the medical team at Arsenal will be taking a closer look once the bruising eases up.

Norway’s team doctor, Ola Sand, spilt the tea that the initial MRI scan revealed no fracture. But, here’s the kicker: it’s looking pretty likely that he’ll be out of action for the rest of September. It looks like he won’t be making an appearance for Arsenal in their Champions League debut against Atalanta, and he’ll also miss the big showdown with City just three days later. Quite the situation, isn’t it?

Sand was chatting with the Norwegian daily VG and mentioned, “You know, those ankle injuries usually need at least three weeks to get better.” So, it turns out that the MRI test done in London suggests there’s probably no fracture in that ankle they were looking at. So, here’s the scoop: it can be pretty tricky to interpret an MRI, especially with a past injury in the mix. Arsenal seems pretty sure there’s no major issue, but don’t hold your breath just yet it might take a while to get the final word.

Oh, did you hear? Arteta might just shake things up by shifting Jurriën Timber, Oleksandr Zinchenko, or even Kai Havertz into the centre of the field. Interesting moves ahead! So, it turns out that Riccardo Calafiori, who just joined this summer, had to cut his time with the Italian national team short after a little incident with Ousmane Dembélé from France. Quite the drama, right? Oh, you know how it goes! There’s a good chance he’ll still be in the mix for that match against Spurs, no matter what happens. Interesting, right?

Interesting choices, right?

The independent key match incidents panel of the Premier League has totally backed Chris Kavanagh’s call to send Rice off during that match against Brighton. Can you imagine the drama? Everyone’s talking about it! So, it turns out that the England midfielder got himself into a bit of trouble for holding up the game, and guess what? He ended up with a second yellow card.
