Osun APC Leader Urges Nigerians: ‘Give President Tinubu More Time to Fix the Economy’

A well-known leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State named Olatunbosun Oyintiloye has asked Nigerians to be patient and give President Bola Tinubu more time to fix the country’s economic problems. In an interview with reporters on Sunday in Osogbo, Oyintiloye said he had faith in Tinubu’s leadership and reassured people that the current economic problems would be fixed in the long run.

Oyintiloye recognised the problems Nigerians are facing, especially since fuel subsidies were taken away and the cost of living went up as a result. He agreed that the transition time had been hard for many people, but he stressed that the changes being made by President Tinubu’s government are important for the country’s long-term growth and stability. Oyintiloye says that these changes, even though they will be hard in the short run, are necessary to make the economy stronger and more prosperous.

The leader of the APC emphasised that big changes often take time to show positive effects. He told Nigerians to be patient and trust the government’s attempts to fix the economy. Tinubu also promised to deal with the country’s most important problems, like inflation, unemployment, and bad infrastructure. In his speech, Oyintiloye said that the President’s policies are meant to set the stage for long-term growth that will help everyone in Nigeria.

Also, Oyintiloye talked about some of the things the Tinubu government has done to lessen the impact of the economic changes. He used the federal government’s “palliative” measures, like cash payments and free or low-cost transportation, to show how the administration is trying to make things easier for people. He told Nigerians to support these programs and keep their faith, saying that the government is working hard to find ways to ease the financial stress on families.

Along with the temporary fixes, Oyintiloye praised Tinubu’s work to bring in foreign capital and make the right conditions for businesses to grow. He said that the government has been working with foreign investors and partners to get much-needed money that will help the economy grow and create jobs. Oyintiloye was hopeful that as these investments come to fruition, the quality of life for Nigerians would start to get better.

People are becoming more and more unhappy with the way the business is doing, which is why Oyintiloye is asking them to be patient. Many Nigerians are angry that the prices of goods and services are going up and the value of the naira is going down. The end of fuel handouts in particular has caused a lot of criticism, with people complaining that the cost of transport and basic goods has gone up. Even with these worries, Oyintiloye thinks that what the government is doing is right for the country and will make Nigeria richer in the long run.

The APC leader also used the chance to praise President Tinubu for being bold in running the country. He said that Tinubu has shown a desire to make tough choices that other administrations had avoided. He also said that Nigeria needs leaders like Tinubu at this very important time. Oyintiloye told the people of Nigeria to back the President and his plans to make real changes. His message was that everyone needs to work together to make the economy strong and stable, and that everyone has a part to play in the process.

Oyintiloye ended by saying that he hoped Nigerians would start to see the good effects of the present reforms over time. People were told that the government knows about their worries and is working hard to solve them. He said again that people’s patience and support are very important during this time of change, while the government puts in place policies that will change the economy and make everyone’s life better in Nigeria.

Olatunbosun Oyintiloye’s call for patience shows how hard it will be for the Tinubu government to handle a time of big changes in the economy. A lot of Nigerians are worried about what’s going on right now, which is understandable. But Oyintiloye’s message is a warning that getting the economy back on track often takes time, sacrifice, and a strong community. As the government continues to make changes, the hope is that these steps will finally make Nigeria more stable and wealthy, where people can have more opportunities and a better quality of life.
