Portable Claps Back at Davido After Instagram Unfollow: “I’ll Win a Grammy Without You”
The social media drama between controversial singer Portable and his colleague Davido has escalated. Portable has hit back at Davido after being unfollowed on Instagram. The conflict began when Portable accused Davido of giving him bad advice during a recent dinner in the United States.
Portable claimed that Davido, signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the label and suggested signing with Empire instead. The “Zazu” crooner alleged that this advice could hinder his Grammy aspirations, despite his similar ambitions to Davido.
In response to the unfollow, Portable stated he doesn’t need Davido’s support to succeed or win a Grammy. He suggested Davido unfollowed him because he was no longer beneficial. In a video shared on his Instagram page, Portable said, “They tried to destroy me and quickly unfollowed me because I stopped being beneficial to them. Whether you help me or not, I will do my tour; whether you follow me or not, I will collect Grammy.”
