Following a period of declining popularity at Chelsea, the England international was able to get a loan transfer to Arsenal, a rival club in London. As the transfer window came to a close, a number of England attackers made moves to different clubs, while Manchester United made their fifth acquisition of the summer.

Within the closing few minutes of the transfer window, Raheem Sterling was able to conclude a loan agreement that will last for the entire season and bring him to Arsenal.

Enzo Maresca, the new Chelsea manager, informed Sterling, who is 29 years old, that he would not be a part of his plans for the upcoming season. As a result, the England forward was forced to look for a new team to play for.

Kaveh Solhekol, a reporter stated that Arsenal, a rival club in London, became an “attractive destination” for him. On Friday, he arrived at the club’s training site before the deadline of 11 o’clock at night.

In order to finish the paperwork, the north London side had till one in the morning.

According to Solhekol, Sterling is not “just motivated by money” and did not intend to relocate to Saudi Arabia at any point in the future.

“Arsenal is an attractive destination for him a model club, challenging for titles in the Champions League,” he explained to reporters.

“And really importantly, Raheem Sterling’s family is settled in London.”

After being excluded from the Three Lions squad for the 2024 European Championship, Sterling, who has 82 caps for England, expressed his desire to win additional trophies and to restore his place in the Three Lions squad.

During the last days of the transfer window, Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho successfully completed a loan transfer to Chelsea. The transaction, which is said to include an obligation to buy at the conclusion of the current season, was a busy one.

Sancho, 24, seemed to have lost the support of United manager Erik ten Hag and was sent on loan to his former club Borussia Dortmund in Germany for the second half of last season.

There’s some juicy news about another England forward, Ivan Toney. It seems like he’s on the verge of sealing a whopping £40m transfer to Saudi club Al Ahli from Brentford. This move comes after months of intense speculation, with various Premier League clubs being linked to him.

millionMeanwhile, there’s some exciting news coming out of Old Trafford. United has just announced their fifth first-team signing of the summer. Manuel Ugarte, the talented Uruguayan international, has made a £42m move to join the squad. This is definitely a signing that has caught the attention of fans and pundits alike.
