Gomez and her boyfriend Blanco dressed as Alice and the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland for a Halloween party, as seen in images posted on Instagram.
The star of Only Murders in the Building captioned a photo with the phrase “Curiouser and curiouser…”
In the pictures she uploaded, Gomez appeared as Alice wearing a blonde wig and a black headband while Blanco stood on top of the couch dressed as the Mad Hatter from Tim Burton’s 2010 film adaptation of the book.
Gomez donned a faded blue off-shoulder tulle dress with a white feather attached to the bodice and a semi-sheer skirt, along with white and black heels and white stockings. She wore a smoky eye and bright pink lipstick.
Blanco, meanwhile, stood out with a bright orange curly wig with his face painted white. He wore a light brown tailcoat, a green waistcoat, and a navy blue polka-dot shirt with grey trousers and a purple scarf, capped off with the Mad Hatter’s signature bronze top hat with a pink band.
A final photograph showed the couple sitting in their costumes on the floor inside.
Gomez provided another footage of her look on Instagram Stories. She was photographed alone, dressed as Alice, seated on the same floor, filming a close-up of her appearance as she hung out with Blanco at what appeared to be a Halloween event, with music and chatter in the background. Gomez shared a photo of herself and her partner holding hands while dressed in her costume for the party.
Emilia Pérez shared a clip of a scene from Disney’s 1951 animated classic Alice in Wonderland, which inspired her Halloween costume.
Blanco also shared a few photographs of his Mad Hatter outfit on Instagram Stories, showing him standing in a room full of people at the Halloween party.
Later that night, the music producer shared a video of himself and Gomez dining in costume.
In the video, Gomez smiles at the camera, mistaking Blanco for a photographer.
“It’s a video,” he eventually explained. “Why do you always do that to me?” Gomez teasingly responded.
Gomez and Blanco announced their romance in December 2023, and they have since posted social media photos highlighting each other.
In September, the singer and actress told Vanity Fair that she had never been loved like this before. He’s simply been a light. A total light in my life. He is my best friend. “I enjoy telling him everything.”
