Amy Dowden, a star of Strictly Come Dancing, was taken to the hospital after the main show took place yesterday night. However, she has stated that she is feeling “much better” now.
Due to the fact that she also suffers from Crohn’s disease, the dancer returned to the show in August after undergoing treatment for cancer.
Amy was experiencing symptoms of illness, and as a precaution, an ambulance was dispatched to her location, according to a spokesperson for Dowden. Her condition has significantly improved, and she would like to express her gratitude to the strictly family for their love and concern.
“We request Amy’s privacy in matters of health is kindly respected.”
A Strictly Come Dancing spokeswoman made the following statement: “Amy Dowden MBE was unable to participate in tonight’s results show due to unforeseen circumstances.”
It was in May of the previous year that Dowden received the news that she had breast cancer. Since 2022, she has not teamed with a celebrity on the entertainment show.
Ahead of her return, she expressed her happiness at the news that her physician had informed her that there was no indication of that disease.
She described the news as “words I dreamed of” and acknowledged it as her “biggest accomplishment yet” in a post that she published on Instagram earlier this year.
The woman, who is 34 years old, stated that she will not receive the all-clear for another five years and that she will require monthly injections in addition to regular checkups.
