The ninth installment of Banksy’s string of animal-themed graffiti has finally been released.

Another Banksy has made an appearance in the capital of England, this time doing it at the London Zoo.

This piece of artwork, which depicts a gorilla, a seal, and birds, is the ninth installment of a series that has been centred entirely on animals up until this point.

There is a wide range of opinions on the interpretation of this piece of artwork, with some individuals stating that it conveys an “anti-zoo message,” while others refer to it as a “tribute to London Zoo.”

Over the past week, Banksy’s most recent graffiti campaign got its start when an ibex goat surfaced next to Kew Bridge in Richmond, which is located in west London.

This was followed by paintings depicting animals such as elephants, monkeys, wolves, pelicans, and cats that emerged at various sites throughout the capital. Additionally, swimming piranhas were seen appearing overnight in a police box in the City of London on Sunday.

Fans were under the impression that the series might have come to an end at the end of the previous week, but yesterday, another mural depicting a rhinoceros appearing to mount an old silver Nissan Micra was discovered.

Rebecca Blanchard, the media manager of the London Zoo, stated to Sky News after the discovery of the gorilla artwork, “This is his [Banksy’s] incredible new mural.”

People will be able to view and admire it because it is located at the entrance of our establishment. “That is really cool!”

Ms. Blanchard is of the opinion that it is “a series to bring happy and cheery feelings to London.”

“Animals bring joy; it’s a fact he’s clearly on board with,” she stated in response.

The artist, who remained unknown, uploaded a picture of the artwork to his Instagram account, just as he has done with each of the installments up to this point.

One Instagram user commented, “Looks like the final one—where it all started.” This is one of the reasons why some people believe that this could be the end of Banksy’s most recent creative campaign.

The creatures created by Banksy thus far

In general, Banksy waits several months between each of his artworks, but recently, he has begun producing them at a rapid pace. In the past nine days, he has engaged in a variety of activities in London, including the following:

The first piece appears in west London.
Two elephants with their trunks stretched towards each other appear on a building near Chelsea.
Three monkeys are painted on a bridge in Brick Lane.
A wolf howls in Peckham for Banksy’s fourth.
August: Pelicans pinch fish from Bonners Fish Bar in Walthamstow.
A catch stretched in Cricklewood.
Fish swim in a police box in the city of London.
The rhino mounting a car in Charlton

As the animal pictures continue to be released on a daily basis, there has been a great deal of discussion over the significance of the series.

At a time when the news has been gloomy, with articles on extensive unrest across the UK, the new series of work by the mysterious artist is reportedly intended to cheer up the public. This is according to The Guardian.

A migrant boat project that the artist dropped over the audience at Glastonbury in June, amid performances by Idles and Little Simz, was another thing that brought him to the attention of the global media.
