#EdoDecides2024: Voters protest lack of election result sheets at polling stations

There was a loss in the election process in Ward 8, Unit 1, Orhionmwon, which is located in the Orhionmwon Local Government Area, during the election for Governor of Edo State. This defeat occurred with regard to the election process.

Voters in the aforementioned district have grown notably agitated as a result of a film that was published to the internet and supposed to show them staging a demonstration against the absence of election result sheets. The film was designed to depict the voters protesting the lack of election result sheets.

The workers of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were unable to produce the papers, despite the fact that they indicated that they were on their way to provide them. This was a really unfortunate situation.

As a consequence of this, the voters grew even more upset, and they claimed that they would not participate in the election because there were no result sheets available to them.

Keeping in mind that there have been reports of news concerning the development ever since the beginning of the election is something that should be kept in mind throughout this process. According to reports, members of the Nigeria Police Force detained two political thugs in Edo State. The Nigeria Police Force provided this information.

The suspects were taken into custody during a nocturnal raid that was carried out at a number of different sites. This was done as part of the measures that the Force is taking to put an end to the violence that is linked with elections.
