Jaymi Hensley, a star of the X-Factor, has been exonerated by the police even though he was apparently arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of his fiance, who was found dead after falling from a hotel window.
After falling thirty feet from the third story of the three-star Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, Northampton, at eleven thirty o’clock on Sunday night, Oliver Marmon, who was 33 years old, passed away in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Even though emergency medical technicians and law enforcement authorities worked hard to save the life of the hairstylist, he was pronounced dead at the site an hour later.
Jaymi, who was 34 years old and experiencing a great deal of grief, was taken into custody in connection with the death of his partner, according to The Sun. Detectives had begun an investigation into the murder.
The forensic post-mortem study that was performed at Leicester Royal Infirmary ‘did not support’ Oliver’s death as a homicide, according to the police. However, he has now been released without charge, and the investigation into the tragedy has been completed. A homicide investigation has been closed.
At this time, the major crime team of the East Midlands Special Operations Unit has been placed on standby, and a file is currently being prepared for the office of the coroner.
The investigation was described as “complex and fast-moving” by Detective Chief Inspector Johnny Campbell, who also stated that it was “only right that an incident such as this be treated with the utmost seriousness.”
Oliver, who was 33 years old, passed away in the wee hours of the morning after falling from the Hind Hotel in Wellingborough, which is a three-star establishment in Northampton.
In a statement that was released today, the Northamptonshire Police Department stated that preliminary findings indicated that the cause of death was injuries incurred as a result of a fall from a height.
When asked about the inquiry, DCI Campbell stated, “This has been a complicated and fast-moving investigation, and our thoughts remain with Olly’s family and loved ones during this extraordinarily trying time.”
“It is only right that an incident such as this be treated with the utmost seriousness, to ensure that we have done everything in our power to understand what has occurred and to obtain the answers that those who have been left behind require and desire.”
In the case of Olly, I am able to certify that the evidence that we have studied does not support the identification of his death as a homicide. The results of the preliminary forensic post-mortem study have now further supported this.
“Our initial findings and decision have been explained to Olly’s family, who will continue to receive support from Northamptonshire Police as they mourn the loss of their loved one,” the statement read.
Following the devastating news, fans have since expressed their sympathies by flooding Jaymi’s Instagram account with messages. One of the messages said, “Just know that Olly will be shining down on you every single day and reminding you that he will always be with you no matter where you are.”
Another person who had the opportunity to become acquainted with Olly expressed that their heart was “broken” for Jaymi.
On the other hand, they said that “he [Olly] was the nicest guy you could ever meet.” “I can’t express how sorry I am for your loss.”
