The Bauchi State government is set to rejuvenate its tourism sector, aiming to attract visitors globally. Commissioner for Tourism and Culture, Abdul Hassan, shared these plans during a meeting with the state’s tourism ambassadors on Thursday.

The installation of solar power aims to address the inconsistent national grid issues, ensuring a reliable energy supply for the reserve.

He also commended the General Manager of Yankari Game Reserve, Muhammad Yusuf, for his visionary leadership and commitment to preserving and promoting the reserve’s natural beauty and cultural significance.
