Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Celebrated the Fourth of July on Opposite Coasts

Regrettably, there were no sparks between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck this Fourth of July. The couple, who have been the subject of divorce rumors for months now, celebrated Independence Day in different locations—thousands of miles apart.

Shortly after her return to Los Angeles from Italy, Lopez was seen enjoying time with friends in the Hamptons. They had a leisurely lunch at Sant Ambreous and later went flower shopping at a nearby nursery with her manager Benny Medina. For the outdoor excursion, J.Lo embraced a rustic look, donning a short-sleeved button-up with a unique floral and striped pattern. She paired it with high-rise cropped khaki pants.

She paired her country-chic ensemble with weaved accessories, such as a straw hat and a Dior tote bag. Completing the look were brown leather flip-flops and a stunning green diamond engagement ring.Undoubtedly, every J.Lo ensemble is elevated by the addition of oversized gold hoops, which were prominently showcased as she elegantly styled her hair into a bun.

Affleck, on the other hand, chose to spend the holiday in Los Angeles. On the previous day, he enjoyed a meal with two of his children—Violet, 18, and Fin, who is 15—at a soba noodle shop. He opted for a casual attire, wearing a gray T-shirt, jeans, and a plaid flannel. He also seemed to have his wedding ring on.

Lopez and Affleck’s recent separate trips come after it was revealed that the two do not “have any summer plans together.”According to an insider, Jennifer is thoroughly enjoying her time in Europe. Italy holds a special place in her heart, and she makes it a point to visit every year. She appreciates the opportunity to take some time off. She has been going through a rollercoaster of emotions in the past few weeks. Ben has been busy with work in L.A. and is enjoying quality time with his children. Everyone appears to be in good health.
