The period of Madelaine Petsch’s short hair is on the horizon.
The former Riverdale actress, who is now 29 years old, shocked her admirers by cutting off her distinctively long, red hair and introducing a new style that is shoulder-length. “Oops, I chopped my hair off,” the actress captioned a post on Instagram that she made on Monday, July 15, to show off the transformation.
The actress’s hair is styled with choppy layers and reaches just past her shoulders. This cut is perfect for the summer season. She also pieced together the curtain bangs.
Petsch shared some behind-the-scenes moments during the big chop, including a clip of herself making the initial cut. Celebrity hairstylist Marc Mena provided these moments. According to her, “Okay, here we go,” she says as she cuts off a portion of her hair. According to the star, “That is so terrifying!”
Petsch is shown in another scene with her hands covering her face while Mena is cutting her hair. Last but not least, the actress concluded the carousel with a photograph of her abandoned hair arranged in a heap on the ground.
Fans were taken aback when they became aware that the actress had cut her long hair, but many expressed their admiration for the new appearance in the comment area.
